Born Joshua A Davis, Animaetion has been on the music scene for over 10 years. Orginally based outside of Chicago Animaetion started his music career rapping at a friends studio, which brought out Animaetion's Awakening Vol.1, an independent release done in 2013.

As a youth, Animaetion made the decision to be independent after finding out how much an artist made in the 3rd grade. Since then Animaetion has proclaimed himself the 'best rapper alive' and has been determined to uphold his self proclaimed title. Animaetion uses influences from Hip-Hop, R&b, Jazz, Orchestral, Blues, Funk, and Pop to name a few.

Now based in Houston TX, Animaetion focuses on sharpening his skills as an artist while maintaining his role of Head Producer, Engineer, and founder of Nheritance Records along side his wife Antonia Davis, COO, Nheritance Records LLC,.
